Aji Cencerro Amarillo Chilli Seeds (c.baccatum)
The name means Cowbell, which describes the fruits shape. This would appear to have been a natural variation that displayed on a single branch of an Aji Berry Amarillo plant. It has been successively grown on and continued to produced the same shape, size and colour fruits.
Plants can get quite tall and may need support. Plants can be quite early to fruit, and ripen quickly, from a mid green to a vibrant, bright yellow colour. Fruits have a crisp, crunchy, clean and delicious taste, with an immediate hit of heat! The heat is medium hot, but quite high for a baccatum variety! The unusual fruits look amazing hanging, pendant from the plant. Fruits are approximately 4 x 3 cm, in size.
Plants are easy to grow and can be quite productive. These fruits are incredibly useful across the board.
10 Seeds approximately per pack.
Our seeds are mainly open pollinated, natures way. Occasionally accidental crosses occur.
This is a potentially unstable natural variation. As with all crosses, there is a chance of variations in fruit colour, size, shape, and texture.
All of our seeds are from fruits grown by us. All of our photographs are photographs of our own fruit and subject to copyright.
