Aji Tapachula (PI 439380) Seed (c.baccatum)
Originally from Mexico, near Guatemala. Another rare baccatum variety, also known as PI 439380. Fruits grow erect on the plant and ripen from a light green to dark green and finally a glossy red colour. Fruits can measure approximately 2 x 1.5 cm. fruits are very pleasant and are low heat with a hint of slightly unripe tomatoes and very crunchy. Plants in the right conditions can be very productive. Very pretty plant to look at, which manages to support itself.
Plants can grow to 150 cm tall and 80 cm wide or more. Flowers have the distinctive white and green/yellow markings. These tend to fruit around mid season, and ripen quickly.
