Farmers Market Japaleno Chilli Seeds (c.annuum)
An annuum variety from the USA. Also known as the Potato or Potato skin Jalapeño. As the name suggests, discovered in a Farmers Market. They display a huge amount of corking to the skin, making them almost unique! This corking has no detrimental effect on the taste. Plants produce an abundance of medium large fruits, which hang pendant on the plant. Fruits ripen from a mid green to a nice red and can reach 11 x 3 cm, in size. Fruits are thick skinned and very juicy. These are sweet, yet a really nice medium heat, the onset of which, is slightly delayed. A really nice tasting chilli.
A nice easy variety to grow, which should do well outside, given the weather. Very useable in everything from stuffing, sauces and salsas to garnishes or used fresh.
10 Seeds approximately per pack.
Our seeds are mainly open pollinated, natures way. Occasionally accidental crosses occur.
