Joes Village Togo Chilli Seeds (c.frutescens)
Originally from Togo, officially the Togolese Republic Africa, situated in west Africa, between Ghana and Benin. These are rare seeds obtained in a seed swap with a local African farmer (Sean). Plants are shrub like and low growing. These seemingly insignificant plants produce some of the hottest fruits I have ever tasted. So hot, in fact I automatically spat them out, in panic! A really intense heat from a tiny fruit. Fruits ripen to red and are a Bird Eye type of fruit These really have to be tasted to be believed. Probably best used in cooking or the making of a powder.
Plants can grow to 100 cm tall and 80 cm wide. These can be quite early to fruit, and ripen quickly.
10 Seeds approximately per pack.
Our seeds are mainly open pollinated, natures way. Occasionally accidental crosses occur.
All of our seeds are from fruits grown by us. All of our photographs are photographs of our own fruit and subject to copyright.
