Nepalese Bell Seed (c.baccatum)
Originally from Nepal, as the name suggests. The King of baccatums! An utterly amazing variety, producing some of the biggest baccatum fruits we have seen. Deeply lobed, large fruits hang pendant on the plant. The fruits ripen from a light green, through orange then finally a glossy red colour. Fruits are a low heat, very juicy, sweet and fruity, with a possible nutty undertone. Very easy to grow. Fruits can measure approximately 10 x 7 cm.
Plants can grow to 160 cm tall and 80 cm wide or more and will need support. Flowers have the distinctive white and green/yellow markings. These can be quite early to fruit, but take a long while to ripen.
10 Seeds approximately per pack.
Our seeds are mainly open pollinated, natures way. Occasionally accidental crosses occur.
All of our seeds are from fruits grown by us. All of our photographs are photographs of our own fruit and subject to copyright.
