Rio Huallago Rocoto Chilli Seeds (CGN22798)(c.pubescens)
Also known as 'Rio Hualaga' and CGN 22798. Originally from Brazil. These produce a nice sized medium plant, which can be very productive. The fruits are large, mainly two lobed, and ripen to a vibrant yellow/orange. The fruits are hot. Plants can grow well outside, even in the UK. The leaves are slightly hairy, thus the term pubescens. Seeds are dark brown or black and the flowers are purple and white.
The CGN classification system for chilli varieties indicates an accession from the independent research unit at Wageningen, The Netherlands. The chilli has no name and is known only by this indexing number.
